GPS Roll Over Event – Important

Important Notice from the Marshall Islands on a GPS roll over event due on the 8 September 2024. A roll over event is an anomaly whish occurs every 19.6 years which causes some equipment to relay data that is 19.6 years in the past. Accurate GPS is fundamental for safety and navigation of marine traffic. JRC equipment is expected to be affected. So regardless of your yacht’s Flag, please check this Notice to see if your equipment has potential for issues. Please contact us if you need any further support.
